Melt butter in a medium size pot over medium heat. Saute garlic and add pumpkin.
Mash pumpkin when it starts to warm up.
Mix in milk and spices and bring to a boil stirring constantly
Reduce heat to low, season and simmer for 5 minutes, keep stirring.
Serve as a side dish.
I am using the last of my garden herbs and I added the powder pepper just to give it a little bit of a kick. I really liked this, but I am opened to suggestions. What about mixing some potatoes? Or using other kinds of ingredients?
