Guava and Cinnamon Filling

  • •1 lb fresh guavas cut in quarters (guava seeds are edible, but if you don't want the crunchiness they add just clean out the seeds before boiling)
  • •2 sticks cinnamon
  • •1 cup sugar
  • •2 TBSP water
  1. In a medium pot boil all the ingredients for 10 minutes over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and cook for 10 more minutes stirring constantly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before using.
