How do you get back to blogging after months of silence? I have been wondering this for weeks now, make that a month or more. I missed my blog. I missed my foodie friends and I have so many things I want to post, but I just decided to take a break from blogging. Not that I didn’t have the time, there’s always time for food and pictures and blogging, but I just didn’t have the motivation to do it, I guess.
I really hope this post breaks that bad patch because I have a lot of stuff to share and because I just love my blog. A couple of times I even thought about closing it altogether, but that thought hurt. How could I do that to my baby?
Speaking of things to share, the most exciting news today was that I am the Mexico City contributor for Culinary Backstreets. If you don’t know them yet, you have to visit them. This website was created by the people who brought you Istanbul eats and the Istanbul Culinary Walks. Culinary Backstreets is a guide of places to eat in 5 amazing cities around the world. The Mexico City section was launched today and if you want to know more about this amazing metropolis and its amazing food, please follow my articles there, and of course follow this blog, I promise I’ll get back to posting on a regular basis.
