grew up around food. His family owned a restaurant in Mexico City and he spent a big deal of his childhood helping and learning after school the art of creating delicious dishes from simple ingredients. He created this blog to share his kitchen adventures with the world.

I am retired Chef and presently volunteer to cook luncheons and other meals for non-profit groups. I have been searching for an affordable school or classes covering Mexican style cooking. All I have found so far is overpriced and very short classes like daily or 5 days and not much cooking or hands on classes. I have always thought I would like to be in a real Mexican kitchen where I could learn. I enjoy the posting of What’s Cooking in Mexico.
