I am a morning person. I love waking up very early in the morning (well sometimes I wake up around 8 am, but my usual get up time is 6 am) when everything is quiet and still dark to start my day. To me it feels like my days are a lot more productive this way. Usually by 10 or 11 in the morning I’ve gotten a lot done and I can start thinking about lunch, dinner and maybe taking a nap. Working from home has its benefits, hehe. Waking up early means that breakfast is a very important part of my mornings. I really enjoy making breakfast. If you take a look at the breakfast category on the sidebar, you’ll see what I’m talking about.
I’ve posted a breakfast roundup before, but I wanted to update that previous post to include some recipes I’ve posted after it. Also I wanted to post something before the weekend so my faithful readers don’t forget about me, hehe. So without more ado here it is another roundup of recipes, this time breakfast is on the table (click on the picture to go to the post):
Breakfast sopes
Gorditas de piloncillo (sweet tortillas)
Huevos con chorizo
Mango pancakes
Huevos a la Mexicana
Breakfast calzone
Fruit Salad
Asparagus and fried eggs
French Toast and Berries
Fall sopes
Chilaquiles
Pumpkin flour tortillas
Stuffed bell peppers
French toast with guava syrup
Huevos rancheros
And one of my all time favorites: Breakfast bisquets.
So if you were short of ideas for breakfast or brunch for this weekend here are some delicious ones you can share with your family. Have a wonderful weekend and Buen Provecho!
