Another year, another celebration. Down here in Mexico cinco de mayo is not a big deal. It’s not even an official holiday. But I wanted to write something today because I’ve neglected my blog for quite sometime and I need to change that. My work is still related to food. I’m still working with chefs and people involved in Mexican cuisine. I’ve just been too damn busy and the days keep getting shorter and shorter, hehe. Anyway, if you want to read more about cinco de mayo please read the article I wrote for Zomppa. And I leave you with a list of recipes you can make to celebrate cinco de mayo. I’m sure you will enjoy them!

Fish tacos with mango salsa

Cecina tacos with nopal salsa

Mango guacamole

Bean salsa in mini tortilla cups

Spring mango salad

Mexican bruschetta

¡Buen provecho!

So Cinco de Mayo is bigger in the States than Mexico, huh? I guess we look for any reason to have a margarita..LOL.
