looks awesome, hopefully i'll be picking up the ingredients tomorrow.
i'll be using chicken rather than tuna, and miracle whip light in place of mayonnaise (to better suit my preferences).
i know it will be fantastic :)

Wow, this sounds and looks fantastic. I love fresh dishes like this. It reminds me of my visit to a friend of the family in California as a young boy and going out to her backyard to hand pick (with a long pole) avocados. There were amazingly fresh. (I guess you can't get any fresher). Thanks for the cool idea and presentation.

There is nothing better in the world than an avo, I love this recipe and can not wait to make it, our avo's are going out of season now so the ones that they do have are expensive.

I'm not sure why I've never thought to do anything like this with avocados--I love eating them but usually am not loaded with ideas. These look great (and I love the photo)!

OMG..so many memories I have by reading your post, I was raised in a very catholic mex family (in Cuernavaca, Mx) and I hated really hated Cuaresma (Lent) because my Mom unsuccesfully tried to feed us with nasty things (for a child's taste) like sopa de lentejas & habas(lentil & dried beans soup).....now that I'm a grown up I don't follow this tradition anymore, but recently was searching for recipes suitable for Lent (for my cooking classes) and believe me, I never thougth about something so simple like this avocado recipe.

Me encanta la ensalada de aguacate, gracias por recordarme tantos momentos con tu historia. Tienes un blog maravilloso. Felicidades, espero sigamos en contacto,

Un abrazo desde Shanghai
