If you belong to the Left-Over Queen Forum you probably know that I am hosting this month’s Royal Foodie Joust. If you don’t know what I am talking about you probably have been living under a rock for the last months and you need to visit the Forum to see how much fun it is. Queen Jenn asked me to host this month’s Joust because she got kidnapped (a pre-arranged kidnapping, that is) by Prince Roberto to the enchanted kingdom of Jamaica after their Royal weeding in the realm of Florida.

The three ingredients for this month’s games, chosen by Michelle of Thursday Night Smackdown, were mango, brown sugar and cardamom. I must say that it was an excellent choice of ingredients and I deeply regret not have been able to participate in the smashup games. But now at least I have a wide collection of recipes to choose from when I return to my normal cooking. Without any more ramblings I present to you May’s winner. Please put your hand together for…

Elle’s creation: Mango Buffalo Wings with Mango Lime Cream Dipping Sauce

Congratulations Elle, you won a Royal apron as well as a 6-1/2 cup Fresh ‘N Cool Container from Tupperware.

But that is not it! The second and the third places will be receiving a prize too. And the winners are:

Mango Sherbet With Cardamom Cookie Cups by toontz
wins a 4-1/3 cup Fresh ‘N Cool container

We had a tie for the third place so we decided to have an extra prize to avoid confrontations and blood shedding. And the third place goes to:

Vanilla and Cardamom Rice Pudding by Peter
wins a 2 cup Fresh ‘N Cool container

and…

Caramel Cardamom Cashew Mango Cupcakes with Brown Sugar Swiss Meringue Buttercream by Tempered Woman
wins a very useful set of funnel, scrapper and 3/4 cup container.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants for making this the biggest and most delicious Joust ever. Now let’s see what ingredients Elle will choose for the next month and LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
