Oh I have to help out. I too was in the same position until Ceratin Someone got sick of me begging and gave me my Kitchen Aid . Now hes reaping the benefits.

I recently came into a very old (30 years +) stand mixer and it works like a charm! (much like my manual focus lenses). I’d love to send you my old hand one but the voltage would be an issue…

Oh no! I hear you on the hand mixer — we only have that, no stand mixer so I cry when making dough. But to lose the hand mixer sounds brutal. I’ll see what I can do to help a fellow foodie out.
