The time has come to start voting! I only received three entries for this first challenge, but I am not discouraged. After all it is only the first one and the participants have more chances to win! So good luck to you all.
Here are the entries:
Michelle from Culinography made these yummy looking chicken pockets. After a long time of avoiding puff pastry she finally decided to give it a try and the results were awesome. Check them out.
Katie from javagirlkt’s made heavenly cannoli cups. She learned that puff pastry is not the same than phyllo dough and I learned that there was a phyllo dough! It is great to have these challenges where we learned so much from each other.
My beautiful friend Núria from Spanish recipes made empanadillas (I believe they are an authentic Spanish recipe) However, there was a little translation problem and Hojaldre (Spanish for puff pastry) ended up as pasty (another kind of dough) for her empanadillas. But for all her efforts I am including her entry.
Look at the entries and vote for your favorite. The poll will be open until January 31st and you can vote once a day. So make sure to tell your friends to vote for your favorite recipe.
Remember that the recipe with the most votes will win a One Touch Reminder Canister Set from Tupperware.
Good luck!

Michelle
No worries… things will definitely pick up! Now I’m off to read about the other two recipes.

Hola Ben! I love your blog and your adjectives!!! he,he,he!
If I have the time today… I’m always short on time… like all of us, I guess, I will put a side link to all events I’m participating at and see if I can send more traffic to your Puff Pastry Event! Tell the others, maybe they can do the same. And for the next time, if we do it in advance, foodies will see it and get involved in the contest… what do you think?
Un beso!
Núria
