That is exactly what I thought when I looked into the opportunity of selling Tupperware®. I remember my mom used to buy a lot of Tupperware® products. One of her cousins was a consultant in Mexico and she held several parties at our house. Some of my favorite toys were from Tupperware®. My favorite lunchbox and tumbler were from Tupperware® as well as many other items we used around the house everyday.

So, why does it seem to be so expensive now? That’s a concern for many people, especially in this grim current economy. I am not going to tell you that Tupperware® products are not expensive. All I want you to think about is these three things:

One. Some of the cheap plastic containers I bought in one of those giant retail stores are wearing off just after 6 or 7 months of use. I know my mom still uses most of the Tupperware® she bought 25 years ago and the best part is that they are still in great shape. Take a look at your mom’s, grandma’s and your own kitchen. I am sure you will find Tupperware® items that have been around for years. Tupperware® products are made to last a lifetime, guaranteed.

Two. If any Tupperware® product cracks, chips, breaks or peels Tupperware® replaces it for free! What about those archaic items that have been in the family for generations? Tupperware® answers:

If, due to unavailability, actual product replacement cannot be made, comparable product replacement will be made, or credit toward future purchases of Tupperware® products will be given.

And that’s not all. If you lose a lid, they will also replace it for free. I’d like to see what a Sprawl-Mart costumer service representative would say if I take my Plastic-Maid containers back for free replacement. I think their faces would be priceless.

Three. Have you checked Tupperware® products lately? They sell more than plastic mixing bowls.
