Happy Turkey Day!

I have never cooked a Thanksgiving dinner in my life. Thanksgiving is not celebrated in Mexico and all the years I’ve been living in the USA I’ve always spent this day with friends and their families so I have never experienced the joy of cooking for this special occasion.

However, I’ve loved Thanksgiving since the first one I celebrated with a group of friends back in 2000. It is now one of my favorite holidays. I love it because it is a time to stop and think about all the great things we have, life, country, family, love.

Today I want to especially thank every single reader who has passed thru this blog in the past 8 months (I know the blog had a rough beginning, but it is trying to survive) I love to cook, but knowing that I will be able to share what I do in my kitchen with the world through this space is a great inspiration to me.

I bet you’re right Ben!, I never cooked anything in thanksgiving as well. I better cook something at the end of the year, but I cook a lot more during the whole year!. Let’s keep an eye on those stores where the products are more expensive, seem to be a group of crooks out there.
