A little while ago I wrote about a piece of Tupperware that has become one of my favorite items in the kitchen. I am talking about the Quick Chef. It is a quick and easy alternative to an electric food processor. From chopping vegetables to whipping heavy cream, Quick Chef has been worth every penny I spent on it. Well after this little commercial here’s today’s recipe made with the Quick Chef, but you can use any food processor to make this recipe. The main ingredient is another favorite of this season, apples. How would you like a delicious apple salad to go with your dinner tonight?
For this recipe you will need:
- ½ onion
- 1 celery stalk
- cilantro
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 2-3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 apples
- salt
Preparation:
Just chop everything in the food processor and serve. That’s it!
You can make some changes like using carrots instead of celery or adding some lettuce or spinach. The apples and apple cider vinegar will give the salad a unique sweet and sour taste that goes great with grilled entrées. MMMM. Sounds great, and healthy too. As usual, I will ommit the jalapeño pepper because I dont´t like hot food. Tell me something Ben. The quick chef is available in Mexico?
